1. Color and light characteristics: Pigment orange 16 presents a reddish orange. Compared with pigment orange 13 and pigment orange 34, its color light is obviously red, and the color is bright and clear.

2. Transparency and fluidity: The pigment orange 16 in the resinized dosage form has high transparency, but poor fluidity, which is suitable for high transparency application scenarios.

3. Endurance performance:

- Light fastness: Grade 3-4 in full color, grade 2-3 in dilute color.

- Heat resistance: up to 180℃.

- Chemical resistance: acid resistance, alkali resistance, solvent resistance is good, ethanol, ethyl acetate, toluene, etc. are grade 3.

4. Physicochemical properties:

- Molecular formula: C₃₄H₃₂N₆O₆, molecular weight is 620.65.

-Density: 1.20 ~ 1.51g /cm³.

- Oil absorption: 28 ~ 60g /100g.

5. Environmental protection: in line with the EU food contact material coloring agent regulation (AP89-1), Chinese food contact material standard (GB9685) and the EU toy standard (EN71-3).

Purpose

1. Printing ink: mainly used for high transparency, low cost packaging printing ink, suitable for adjusting the color of pigment yellow 12.

2. Plastic coloring: suitable for coloring EVA, rubber, LDPE, HDPE and other plastic products.

3. Coating: it can be used in the fields of solvent-based industrial paint, decorative paint and coating printing.

4. Other applications: it can also be used for vinylon pulp coloring, rubber products and powder coatings.

Summary

Pigment Orange 16 is widely used in the field of printing ink and plastic coloring due to its bright red orange and high transparency.
